Course #4 - Christian and Islamic Theological Issues - Dr. Sassan Tavassoli - Course Book
The course book is designed to supplement i2 ministries video course #4 - Christian and Islamic Theological Issues. If you would like to bring i2 ministries training to your group or church contact us at email@example.com.
This course is a survey of the major areas in which Christian and Islamic theology, doctrine and dogma collide. Understanding the basics of Islamic theology is important for shaping an appropriate answer to the questions from Muslims. The content of this course will also provide an important outline for the basic content necessary for discipling new MBBs. At the same time, it is recognized there is limited value to apologetics; ultimately it is the Spirit of God who brings Muslims to Christ.
1. The student will begin to grasp the basics of Islamic theology as they intersect with Christian theology.
2. The student will be able to form biblical responses to the questions of Muslims with an eye towards continuing to learn about Islam.
3. The student will come to realize that even if one never meets a Muslim, because of the nature of it’s challenges, he will be well prepared for any challenge.
4. The student will feel equipped, encouraged and confident to engage Muslims in life-changing conversations and evangelism.
